My Birthday Wish /

Dear friends,

Today is my 31st birthday, and unlike other days of my life, I woke up pretty early this morning. :)
And then as usual, I switched on my computer to check e-mails, and I found the following video link sent by a dear friend:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7065205277695921912

It took me 2 hours to finish watching this "Zeitgeist:Addendum" film featured in this link and am now deciding to write to all of you, whom I have known closely or just casually.
I have decided to share this with you, because through watching this film project, on my very birthday, I am feeling a new level of hope again, towards the world in which we are living.

The series of Zeitgeist movies ("Zeitgeist:Addendum" being the latest one, released in October 2008) is a documentary essay project that tends to expose the American monetary system as the main source of human agonies nowadays. Exercised through out the world as a common condition to live and survive, MONEY has become the bond that bind us into the so-called reality. And never have I really questioned the reason behind it, because it has become so indispensable in all aspects of our lives.

But the film has suggested differently. The first half of the film is really depressing though, provided that the Money System in itself has the most arbitrary rules, and that we seem to be unable to overthrow it at all. But if we are patient enough to watch until the end, a series of thoughts on the solutions of the world's main problem was then presented. According to these suggestions, the main problem of our world nowadays is resources. We are being led to believe (whether falsely or not) that there is just not enough natural resources on earth to sustain our very future. This is because in a economically ruled world, scarcity is the condition to make more profits. But in fact, relying on the technology that human mind has advanced and developed up to now, we are totally able to re-invent the energy system of our world with the wise usage of Solar (sun), Tidal (wave), or Wind energy without any worry of end. And if our energy system can be changed, then the way we live will be changed. Following this facts, the film develops towards the most fundamental message that we cannot avoid anymore: It is time for a CHANGE.

Whether we like it or not, WE ARE CHANGING. Constantly into new levels of existence, physically, mentally and spiritually. Humanity has lived up to this day, and is bound to live many more. Through out History, man has changed and is going to change again and again and again. That is for sure. But as how are we going to do it, depends on the choices that humanity is making in its actions, thoughts, ideas and plans.

Solutions there are, it is up to us to choose wether or not to hear, then discuss and ACT.

As for my birthday wish: Be part of the NEW WORLD!

First step: Be informed.
It takes 2 hours of your day, but it's worth it:

with Hope and Love,
alice

alice
