創作理念：
「烏托邦」這個詞，一般給人一種不切實際的感覺，人們普遍地認為當中的理念不能達到。到了今時今日，科技的發展讓人做到「不可能的任務」，但人性卻仍然感到孤單，好像離「烏托邦」的寧靜與和諧很遠似的，這其中的原因，可能在於我們發展物質科技的同時，忘掉了人類靈性的發展。而靈性的發展，與大自然息息相關，今天的「烏托邦」，不再只是理論式的構想，而是要融合科技與大自然去實現的。
這個作品是嘗試透過科技（攝錄機），去接觸大自然自有的和諧一刻，「烏托邦」就在我們忘掉了的大自然細節中。
其實看似很遠的事，卻近在咫尺。
“Utopia” is an idea generally seen as impracticable or unrealistic. With the technology development nowadays, people are able to achieve “Mission Impossible”, but are still feeling isolated, far from the tranquility and harmony suggested by “Utopia”. The reason for this is perhaps due to our single-minded concern to materialistic technology development and our total negligence on humanity’s spiritual growth. As for spiritual growth, it is very closely linked with the Nature. Today if we should talk about “Utopia”, we should not be confined by mere theory anymore, but should find a way to combine technology and the Nature in order to put it into reality.
This work shows how technology (the camera), driven by the human mind, tries to reach the self-contained cycle of Nature. “Utopia” is where we have overlooked as details of the Nature.
Indeed far away, but so close.
